Seriously, another Apple leak?
For the second time in as many weeks, a Vietnamese website, Tinhte.com, showed off another Apple prototype.
First, it was an iPhone 4G prototype; now it's an iPod Touch.
This has got us wondering if this is an Apple marketing ploy. We've called Apple, and we are waiting on a response. Don't hold your breath.
Back to the "leak."
Tinhte.com shows a 65 GB iPod with a 2-megapixel camera.
From what we see from the video, the camera appears to be the only new addition to the iPod. It's wrapped in a very cool aluminum case, and appears to be running some sort of beta software or a diagnostic utility.
Now, back to Apple secrecy. What's up with it? The company used to be known as an impenetrable fortress.

Since the iPhone 4G drama last March, when an engineer left a prototype at bar and the phone was sold to Gizmodo.com, insiders thought Apple would clamp down.
Then, this Vietnamese website leaked another iPhone 4G prototype two weeks ago, and now the iPod prototype. It smells more and more like Steve Jobs marketing. We will wait and see if Apple goes after this website as vigorously as they did with Gizmodo.
