A raging pallet fire burned one building down and threatened five others in downtown Los Angeles Saturday.
The fire, which had residents tweeting from all over the downtown area, was burning at 748 Ceres Avenue between 7th and 8th streets.
No injuries were reported, but at least six buildings were exposed to the blaze. One was a total loss, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
More than 180 firefighters battled the blaze for at least two hours Saturday afternoon, and crews would remain at the fire overnight.
The fire came as the so-called Sand Fire burned 20,000 acres in the Santa Clarita area.
