Firefighters discovered a man who crashed his car into a park in Encino was actually shot early this morning. “The shooting happened on the Ventura Freeway near the Havenhurst exit shortly before three o'clock,” said LAPD officials.
The injured man then drove his car for about a mile until he crashed on Ventura Blvd. just east of Genesta Avenue in Encino Park a few minutes later. Paramedics discovered the gunshot wound after they started treating him. So far police have no motives or suspects in the incident. “The victim was shot more than once and is hospitalized, but his condition is unknown,” said police.
