Detectives searched for the person or people responsible for stabbing a homeless man whose body was found in a parking lot in Highland Park, police said Thursday.
A security guard patrolling the area discovered the man in the 5800 block of Figueroa Street and called police at 12:55 a.m., police said.
Police said the man, who was in his 60s, had been stabbed several times and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim's name was not immediately released.
