Lane Kiffin Trolls USC after Lopsided Loss

Former USC head coach and current Alabama Offensive Coordinator trolled his old team with a social media message for the ages.

Everyone loves to get revenge on an ex, but Lane Kiffin took it to another level on Sunday.

The former USC head coach—and current offensive coordinator of Alabama—was seen relishing the Tide's 52-6 demolition of his former team on the sidelines on Saturday but it was his internet trolling on Sunday that had people talking.

Kiffin threw some shade on the University of Southern California after his No. 1 ranked Crimson Tide handed the Trojans one of the worst losses in school history.

On Sunday morning, he posted the following picture of his son holding the game ball and included the hashtag #3:14AM-LAX a nod to the time and place that he was famously terminated by USC Athletic Director Pat Haden in September of 2013.

Kiffin coached the Trojans from 2010 to 2013, but was fired after a 62-41 loss at Arizona State. Rather than allowing the coach to return to campus with his team, Haden pulled Kiffin off the tarmac at Los Angeles International Airport and informed him of his termination.

The 41-year-old coach called that moment, the low point of his career and always joked that he was "a good 20 yards off the tarmac," not on the tarmac itself when he was told of his unemployment.
