A 42-year-old man convicted of lewd acts involving his ex-girlfriend's teenage daughter, whom he later married, was sentenced to four years and four months in state prison on Friday, prosecutors said.
Isidro Medrano Garcia, of Bell Gardens, was found guilty of three felony counts of lewd acts on a minor on March 4, according to the Orange County District Attorney's Office.
A jury acquitted Garcia of one felony count of rape and hung on one felony count of kidnapping to commit a sexual offense, prosecutors said.

The woman stayed with Garcia from 2004 to 2014, and the two lived in a Bell Gardens apartment. Garcia allegedly forced the woman into marriage in 2007 and had a child with her in 2012.
The couple's nanny at the time said she was shocked when Garcia was arrested, and said they seemed like the "perfect couple."
