If you gotta go, it's best to go at the Santa Monica Pier.
It has one of the top ten best restrooms in the country, according to a new survey. The public toilets at the pier rank in the top ten.
The annual poll by Cincinnati-based Cintas Corporation is based on an online vote. The online nomination form asks, "What makes this restroom special?"
There's also a field to upload a photo.
The Santa Monica pier bathroom got high marks for its "whimsical architecture. And the roof design was inspired by ocean waves and roller coasters.
The decor celebrates the pier's 100th anniversary.
The Best Restroom will be announced in September. Last year's winner was a facility in the Shoji Tabuchi Theater in Branson, Mo.
