A man was taken into custody in Thousand Oaks Wednesday night after leading police on a pursuit in a sedan he allegedly stole from Foothill Transit in Pomona.
Police began pursuing the car in Glendale.
The pursuit had entered the northbound Ventura (101) Freeway by about 9:35 p.m. The driver led police through the Newbury Park area and into Thousand Oaks, where he stopped on the freeway and surrendered to police at about 9:50 p.m.
The man was taken into custody without further incident. His name was not immediately released.
