A security guard making the rounds behind a Walmart Supercenter in Santa Ana Sunday found a man dying from stab wounds.
The victim was a man in his late 20s to early 30s and possibly a transient. He was rushed to UCI Medical Center in Orange, where he died at 4:54 a.m., according to the coroner's office.
Officers were dispatched to the Walmart Supercenter at 3600 W. McFadden

Ave. at 2:45 a.m., in response to the discovery of a stabbing victim, said Santa Ana police Cpl. Anthony Bertagna.
"At this point, he's a John Doe," Bertagna said.
