2 Brown Frats “Facilitated” Sexual Misconduct: University

Brown University has sanctioned two fraternities for hosting unregistered parties last fall, creating environments that "facilitated" sexual misconduct, university officials announced Monday. The Ivy League university's chapter of Phi Kappa Psi will immediately lose university recognition for four years, including the loss of on-campus housing, while Sigma Chi will be put on probation and lose its university privileges until the fall of 2016, according to a statement. No members of the fraternities are accused of sexual misconduct, and none face criminal charges, the university said.
