Authorities have arrested a possible murder suspect after a short pursuit and search in Echo Park Thursday.
Patrol units saw a vehicle that may be connected to a murder and began to follow behind, according to Los Angeles Police Sgt. Todd Cataldi.
The vehicle took off and triggered a brief pursuit before the person bailed and ran into an apartment complex.
A search area was in place near Temple and Bonnie Brae streets. Residents in the area were told to stay indoors and to report any prowlers.
The call came out just before 11 a.m.
