Discount carrier Spirit Airlines announced Tuesday it will begin offering service between Hollywood Burbank Airport and Las Vegas this summer.
The airline will begin service June 20, with three flights both to and from Las Vegas.
"We are excited to be starting service at Hollywood Burbank Airport with nonstop flights to Las Vegas and connections to dozens of other cities," John Kirby, Spirit Airlines' vice president of network planning, said in a statement.
Spirit Airlines is a low-cost carrier known for its no-frills base tickets and a-la-carte pricing for amenities such as checked bags and seat assignments.
The airline's initial service will include flights leaving Burbank for Las Vegas at 1, 3:59 and 8:05 p.m. daily. Flights from Las Vegas will depart at 11:10 a.m., 2:09 and 6:15 p.m.
