Evacuations Lifted as Firefighters Attack Corona Brush Fire

Mandatory evacuations were lifted in Corona Thursday afternoon as firefighters attacked a brush fire.

The fire was reported near Palisades and Serfas Club drives. Water-dropping aircraft and firefighters are at the scene.

Several streets were under mandatory evacuation orders for a brief time.

A cause of the fire, estiamated at about 5 acres, was not immediately determined.
