He says he will remain in the kennel until $100,000 is raised for the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals' Los Angeles chapter

Popular YouTube personality Elton Castee will move into a dog kennel at Long Beach's animal shelter Sunday, where he will eat, sleep and broadcast live to raise money for the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals' Los Angeles chapter.

Beginning at noon, Castee will live in kennel #420 at the P.D. Pitchford Companion Animal Village & Education Center at 7700 E. Spring St.

Fans can view the broadcast 24 hours a day on his YouTube channel, and viewers can donate money via spcala.com. Castee is also inviting friends and fans to visit him during the fundraiser. The shelter is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today.

Castee adopted a dog named Sparta from the Long Beach shelter, who passed away last year.

He says he will remain in the kennel until $100,000 is raised for the SPCALA.
