Submit Questions for Mother Who Put 7-Year-Old Daughter on Diet

The Manhattan mother who gained notoriety for her article in Vogue about putting her 7-year-old obese daughter on a diet is now releasing a book.

Dara-Lynn Weiss' memoir "The Heavy: A Mother, A Daughter, A Diet" is scheduled for release Jan. 15.

"The damned if you do/damned if you don't predicament came into sharp relief when Weiss raised some of these issues in a Vogue article. Critics came out in full force, and Weiss unwittingly found herself at the center of an emotional and highly charged debate on childhood obesity," according to the book's description.

Weiss is scheduled to appear Tuesday morning on Today in LA on NBC4.
