Barrio Action was established to empower young people to succeed both academically and socially, working with people of all ages, with a special emphasis on helping high-risk and at-risk youth, young adults and their families.
Since 1977, we have provided more than 20,000 youth and families the tools to create and sustain a healthy and nurturing family life, establish a commitment to education, develop and improve their social skills, and retain their dignity and reinforce their self-esteem.
