United Friends of the Children is dedicated to the premise that foster youth deserve a successful adulthood. Through our Housing and Education Programs, foster youth are provided with the opportunity to graduate from high school, attend and graduate from college, get a job, find housing and have a support system that moves them gradually towards independence.
Volunteers are needed to help with the College Readiness Program Workshops that take place on Saturdays. This position will assist with implementation of the lesson/activity, facilitation of small group work, as well as smaller duties such as the distribution of lunch and snacks. Volunteers will help ensure youth stay engaged and focused, as well as providing guidance with the lessons and work. To volunteer, click here.
