What to Know
- Saturday, Aug. 3
- 3 to 9 p.m.
If you're something of an engine aficionado, a devotee of dashboards, and wheely, we mean really into wheels, you've likely spoken the words "my next car," as in, "when I get my next car, this is exactly what I'm picking."
But what if your current dream for your next car is actually the same as your first car?
Or a car that first hit the road a half century ago?
The words "my next car" seems to look to the future, but our daydreams don't always reside with the newest, shiniest, and tricked-out-iest of automobiles. Sometimes, we want the perfect vintage vision in our garages.
Good news, if that's you: Downtown Burbank will be filled with such vintage visions on the afternoon and evening of Saturday, Aug. 3. That's when the annual Downtown Burbank Car Classic 2019 rolls into the area, bringing with it a fleet of beautiful cars that have been loved-all-over by a host of caring, detail-smart owners.
The best part? Besides possibly finding inspiration for your next car?

You won't have to pay to enter. It's free, and we all love free, especially in the heart of summertime, that easier, breezier, free-ier time of year.
As is tradition with this Media City celebration, a number of vehicles that have been seen on both the small and silver screens will play a part in the event's Red Carpet Expo.
So if you think you've seen a particular car before, chances as solid as a newly upholstered seat is comfortable that you have.
There'll be vendors, too, of a car-helpful nature, in case you need to pick up some additions for your own automobile. Maybe, if you spend the next year spiffying up your auto, you'll even play a part at the 2020 Downtown Burbank Car Classic, and your wheels'll serve as a guiding light for someone else looking for their next car.
So what will "your next car" be, do you think?
