GRAMMY Week at the GRAMMY Museum
    Ziggy Marley
Ziggy Marley plays at the Children's Music Celebration at the GRAMMY Museum on Saturday, January 30th.

Like the Oscars, and the Golden Globes, and other major awarderies, the GRAMMYs spread out over several days.

The actual show is on Sunday, January 31st at STAPLES Center. And the GRAMMY Museum, where it is all GRAMMY all year long, but especially during the week ahead of the awards spectacular, is celebrating.

The museum is holding several special nights (and one day) that are fully GRAMMY focused; look for live performances by nominees for four nights during GRAMMY Week. Up on Thursday, January 28th is Mississippi Night, which will feature David "Honeyboy" Edwards.

Friday the 29th is Hawaii Night -- nominee Tia Carrere will be there -- we are referring to the actress, who is a GRAMMY winner as well -- plus a host of other artists who can summon the islands in song.

Saturday daytime is the Children's Music Celebration; Ziggy Marley will be there. And Louisiana Night strums on Saturday evening.

This is fab, GRAMMY people. We like the magazine-regular headliners who often take centerstage at the awards, but getting to know other nominees is a mission every music lover should have, every single year.
