    ...WIND ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM THIS MORNING TO 10 PM
    PDT THIS EVENING...

    * WINDS...Gusty southwest winds will increase to 20 to 35 mph with
    gusts to 50 mph late this morning and continue through this
    evening. There will be locally higher gusts to 55 mph around
    the Lake Palmdale area and adjacent foothills.

    * IMPACTS...Gusty winds will make driving difficult, especially
    for high profile vehicles. This includes Highways 14 and 138,
    especially near the foothills. There could be blowing dust and
    sand lowering visibilities.

    PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

    When driving, use extra caution. Be prepared for sudden gusty
    cross winds.

<p>A deep marine layer is back through Saturday as onshore flow strengthens.<br />
Look for minimal clearing close to the coast and a chance of drizzle or light rain in the mornings.<br />
Hot and windy over our mountains and deserts with a  Wind Advisory there through 10pm tonight.<br />
Wind gusts from 20-30 mph up to 50 mph there.  Strongest winds will be in the afternoon with impacts including: Damage to trees, Hazardous driving for high profile vehicles, blowing dust and elevated fire danger.<br />
Slightly warmer and drier on Sunday, but daytime temperatures will continue below normal.<br />
This pattern sticks around till the middle of next week when the marine layer thins out and temperatures warm a bit.</p>
