A 40-year-old Lake Forest woman who may be in immediate need of medical attention went missing Wednesday.
Salma Husna Banu, also known as ''Polly,'' was last seen when she dropped her two children from school at her home between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. and said she was going to the store and would be back in 30 minutes, said Jim Amormino of the Orange County Sheriff's Department.
Banu's 2000 four-door green Ford Excursion with her purse inside was located in Rancho Santa Margarita.
Banu is 5 feet 5 inches tall, 130 pounds, and has brown eyes and short brown hair. She was wearing a purple shirt and blue jeans.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts was asked to call (714) 647-7055 or (714) 628-7170.
Late Wednesday night an Orange County Sheriff's Watch Commander told NBCLA "we are concerned she (Banu) might hurt herself".
