Tea Party Parties at the Rose Bowl

The Tea Party Express National Tour hold a Super Rally at the Rose Bowl

In a white t-shirt instead of trademark white shoes, crooner and conservative activist Pat Boone set the tone for the Pasadena leg of The Tea Party Express!

“We’re not trying to create a new government. We like the one we had and we want it back! Don’t we…?" asked Boone, of the Beverly Hills Tea Party.

Boone brought celebrity to this Tea Party stopover on the heels of Monday’s kickoff in Nevada with former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin. Singers and speakers Wednesday night railed against critics like the NAACP who question the makeup and the motives of the Tea Party.

“So when they call you a racist cause you disagree," sang Lloyd Marcus, entertainer, "just another raw, bad nasty trick to silence you and me!

“The mainstream media was there to falsely portray you as not only violent but also racist!” said Andrew Breitbart, blogger.

The faithful said they’ll deliver big numbers on Election Day based on the issues and not party affiliation.

“Our objective is not to send Republicans to Washington but to send conservatives to Washington, ” said Amy Kremer, Tea Party Chairwoman.
