A man was hospitalized after being attacked with a machete in a South Los Angeles parking lot Monday morning, police said.
The attack was reported about 9:45 a.m. in the 5000 block of Rodeo Road, near Rancho Cienega Recreation Center in the Baldwin Hills area, the Los Angeles Police Department said.
The victim, a man in his mid-30s, was taken to the hospital in stable condition. Police said he had minor cuts to his face.
There was no information on the assailant, except he or she fled in a car.
