Two people were injured during a shooting outside the Rec Room Bar early Saturday in Studio City.
One person was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The other was taken in a private vehicle with their condition unknown.
Los Angeles Police Department responded to the incident around 1:30 a.m. at the 12400 block of Riverside Drive after a man opened fire during an over-21 event.
The shooting took place at an 818 event, where local artists, DJs and bands from the San Fernando Valley performed, according to a person who was at the event.
The event was the first of its kind, bringing together local residents from the Valley.
One woman who was present recalled the chaos of people trying to flee following the terrifying moments on her Twitter.
Authorities are investigating what led up to the attack.
