The widow of a renowned hairdresser to the stars has been arrested in connection with her husband's slaying, officials said.
Monica Sementilli, 45, was arrested Wednesday in Fabio Sementilli's killing that occurred in Woodland Hills in January. She was being held without bail at the Los Angeles Police Department's West Valley Jail in Van Nuys
Fabio Sementilli was a respected stylist and beauty industry educator known worldwide.
His body was found on the outdoor patio of his multi-million dollar residence. He suffered from injuries on his face and multiple stab wounds to his neck and chest, officials said.
It was not immediately clear if the suspect has an attorney.
Friends and family set up a Facebook page to remember Fabio Sementilli.
"Such a tragic loss," Anne Low Jessop said. "He had a big heart and was such a wonderful talented man. My condolences to his family."
