Prior to joining the team, she was a multimedia journalist and digital producer at KOMU-8 News, wrote for Index on Censorship and was an intern at NBCLA. Originally from the Chicago suburbs, she graduated from the University of Missouri School of Journalism with a degree in broadcast reporting.
