What do the following elements have in common: A wand-big candy cane freshly made at The Candy Kitchen, a gingerbread haunted house in the middle of a ghostly ballroom, and brightly decorated tires standing in for wreaths? They're all a part of the Holidays at Disneyland Resort.
The world's most famous theme park just revealed what's ahead for the 2017 celebrations, which will run from Nov. 10 through Jan. 7, 2018. "World of Color — Season of Light" will splash and sparkle nightly at Disney California Adventure, while "it's a small world" will glow with thousands of lights at Disneyland Park. "Disney ¡Viva Navidad" is part of the Festival of Holidays at Disney California Adventure, while "A Christmas Fantasy" parade, complete with those sweet toy soldiers, will dance through Disneyland each day. Over at The Haunted Mansion, Jack Skellington, Sally, Zero, and other characters from "Tim Burton's A Nightmare Before Christmas" shall hold charming court. And the "Believe... in Holiday Magic" sky spectacle will round it all out, with fireworks, each night.
Will there be treats, too, like The Candy Kitchen's beloved candy canes and special seasonal cookies? Count on your confection-based dreams coming true, Disney devotees.
