The society says that the cats "... are fearful of people, but some are beginning to show improvement. Further, "(i)t may take days, months, or longer for them to adjust living with a family. There is a possibility that the cats may never be fully accepting of human interaction, but the organization hopes they will become loving companions over time."

The society "... is working closely with the City of Pasadena code enforcement department" all to make sure that the cats' owner "...receives the care and services she needs."
