Flash floods in the Inland Empire have resulted in dangerous driving conditions in Lucerne Valley. Yucaipa Police responded to various reports of the aftermath mud slides and stuck cars, which resulted in the temporary closure of two San Bernardino highways. Highway 38 has been reopened to all traffic; however Highway 18 is closed due to mudslide cleanup. Drivers have been advised to use an alternate route.
