As heat and humidity grip Southern California, 7-Eleven is offering free Slurpees Wednesday as part of 7-Eleven Day. The company estimated it'll give away about 9 million of the small Slurpee drinks from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

In honor of 7-Eleven Day on 7/11 the convenience store is giving out free small slurpees while supplies last at their stores across the country.
Slurpee lovers can go to any location between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. local time to get their treat – in flavors that include the new featured choice, Cap’n Crunch’s Crunch Berries.
Customers can also purchase Big Bite hot dogs to go along with their free slurpees for just $1 on Wednesday – perfect for that lunch time meal or midday snack.
This year marks the 17th straight that the convenience store has started giving out free slurpees – a product the company introduced in 1966 - to celebrate the calendar date.
