Sancho, a stylish 10-year-old Jack Russell terrier, visits patients at the San Gabriel Valley Medical Center a few times a week, and he's often seen as a delight. The therapy dog rolls up to patient's rooms in his red Volkswagen bus before he makes an appearance, and can be heard driving down the hallways.
Certified by the Alliance of Therapy Dogs, Sancho has been volunteering at the hospital with his owner for over a year. Along with Scotty, a Labrador Retriever who also volunteers at the hospital, Sancho has been a hit as part of the pet therapy program.
Typically seen in collared Hawaiian shirts, Sancho won the hearts of social media enthusiasts when photographs of his holiday ensemble were shared on Twitter by user @jewelsssm.
