Large or life-sized animal sculptures dotting a metropolitan area? You may have seen the Painted Ponies of New Mexico or CowParade, which popped up in several cities around the world. They're created and displayed for many reasons -- to highlight an artist's style or support an important cause -- and the pose-a-bility quotient is always strong (meaning the important cause will be further shared on social media by the person in the photo). Next up? Funny Zoo will make its way to points around Southern California, from Venice to Hollywood. The artworks, which feature a bevy of beasties, will "call attention to endangered wildlife and the environment." Later, an auction of the art will help support the California Wildlife Center.
