The newest baby animal at the Los Angeles Zoo already stands at about six feet tall.
A female Masai giraffe was born to a pair of 5-year-old giraffes at the zoo on July 11, and is set to make her public debut Wednesday. Guests are encouraged to come see the unnamed calf "while she's still young because giraffe's can grow to be nearly 10 feet tall by their first birthday!" the zoo noted in a statement.
