Despite the rising temperatures across the country, skiers and snowboarders are still enjoying the slopes at Mammoth Mountain and baring skin while doing so.
Surprisingly, 140 inches of snow remain at the Summit and 20 inches can be seen at the Main Lodge, according to reports from Mammoth Mountain Ski Area.
Mammoth has announced that it will be open daily for skiing and riding well past the Fourth of July holiday and into August. Children aged 12 and under can ride for free through the end of the season.
If snow isn't your thing, the Mammoth Mountain bicycle park opened earlier in June.
