A seaside mansion previously owned by filmmaker Michael Bay is selling for $8.45 million — and every inch of it is as flashy as his films. Nestled on a secluded Montecito hilltop with sweeping ocean views, the four-bedroom, four-bathroom residence offers indoor and outdoor living space on about 1.5 acres.
Bay sold the property to the current seller in 2011, and several upgrades have been made to the home since then, including the addition of a guest bedroom, kitchen remodel and drought-tolerant landscaping. The contemporary two-story home located about 100 miles northwest of downtown Los Angeles was designed by Santa Barbara-based architect Jan Hochhauser.
