SANTA BARBARA, CA - MAY 07: Surfers enter the water under heavy smoke from the Jesusita fire at Butterfly Beach on May 7, 2009 in Montecito, just south of Santa Barbara, California. Firefighters are experiencing a setback as the out-of-control wildfire is making a run to the west. Santa Barbara is suffering its third major wildfire to burn homes in less than a year. Dozens of homes have been destroyed, firefighters have been injured, and thousands of households are under mandatory evacuation orders. The fire is zero-percent contained and fire officials are bracing for more predicted high winds. (Photo by David McNew/Getty Images)

SUNRISE FROM A FREEWAY RAMP On my way into work this morning, I saw part of the sunrise peeking between the trees as I left the house. I was thinking it would be nice to be able to get high enough to get a good picture, but by the time I got there it would have passed. Lo and behold, this presented itself as I was waiting at the light on the ramp!
