HOLLYWOOD: With this black plywood covering Karma Coffeehouse on the corner of Selma and Cahuenga, you'd think it was gearing ready to shutter for its transformation to the still unnamed burger and beer concept planned for that space. Although the black plywood is a sure sign Kristofer Keith and Spacecraft Design is involved (all of his projects have it), a quick call to Karma confirms the coffeehouse will be open through at least the end of the year. It's probably safe to not expect burgers and beer until at least summer 2009.
